How to display the record count of the current file when editing

To have the record count of the file being viewed display at the top of the form, uncheck the option 'Display Record Type in banner':

When this option is not checked, the program will automatically add a caption like

Record 5 of 432

to the top of the form¹⁾

Note: There is not enough room in the caption of the main form for both the record count and the type of record currently being viewed.
