The Match Info panel, located at the top of the form, displays details about the match key (primary key) used to link the records in the current match group together, the crosschecks that failed, the particular preference that caused one record to be preferred to another, and a list of cataloging problems found in each record (as determined by MARC Report).

A fully-configured Match Info panel is displayed below:

Each of the four elements–

• Match key info (the 020 in the screenshot above)
• Preference info (Has/Lacks 440/830)
• Crosscheck info (XAUTH, XFORM)
• MARC Report messages

–that are part of this view option can be turned on or off individually using the 'View|Match Info Panel' menu option:

There is also an option (at the bottom of the above screenshot) that makes it possible to move the Match Info panel from the top to the bottom of the display.
