TMQ and Solinet team up
The TMQ Training Tour of the Southeast gets off to a flying start
with a sold out session of "Just for Copy Cats" at Solinet HQ in
April
Solinet, a leading provider of
library-related workshops in the southeastern U.S., has contracted with TMQ to
provide the TMQ
Cataloging Series to its members on a rotating schedule. TMQ's southeastern tour began with a sold-out
session of its introductory "Just for Copy Cats" in Atlanta. A repeat of that workshop at the Solinet
HQ is already booking up well for Jun 8-9. The tour moves on to Virginia
next, where "Just for Copy Cats" will be held at the Library of
Virginia, also from Jun 8-9. The
ever-popular "Book Blitz I" will follow in each state shortly
thereafter, while "Just for Copy Cats" moves on to Burlington, NC.
The
plan is for the series to be held in six separate areas across the southeast:
Georgia, North Carolina/South Carolina, Alabama/Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky,
Louisiana/Mississippi (In Florida, TMQ workshops are sponsored by the regional
multi-type consortia). See below for the
dates already scheduled for 2006, and the planned sessions for 2007. Dates and sites for the 2007 sessions should
be available sometime later this summer.
