How to Register MARC Report or MARC Global

The use of MARC Report or MARC Global beyond the 30-day free trial period requires a registration key from TMQ. This registration key will be sent to you via email when you purchase the program.

To register MARC Report:

*      Open the email you received from TMQ.  It will contain detailed instructions. The registration information will be similar to what displays here:

*      Start the program.

*      Click "Help" on the Main menu, then select ‘Register MARC Report’ or ‘Register MARC Global’, whichever is appropriate. A form like the following will appear:

*      Fill in the form with the registration information from the email that you received from TMQ.

*      When all of the registration information has been entered into the form, click the ‘Register’ button.

*      Finally, save the email you received from TMQ on a floppy disk and keep it in a safe place.  If you ever re-install Windows or get a new computer, you will need to re-register the program

IMPORTANT NOTES:

o        Both the User Id and the Registration Key are case-sensitive.

o        The User Id often ends in a number.

o        Please use your mouse to copy and paste the Registration Key into the registration form.

o        If, for some insane reason, you have to type the registration key, make sure you display it in Courier so you can distinguish the characters from one another.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

If you receive a message that the "unlock code is incorrect", please check that all of the information in the form is exactly the same as the information above. Make any corrections that are needed and click the ‘Register’ button again. Click ‘Done’ if you want to exit the Registration process.

If you are using a newer version of Windows (2000 or XP), and you receive an error message when you try to register, you may not have enough permissions to run the registration procedure. If this happens, please login as a user with Administrative privileges and repeat the registration procedure.
